How far away is the throw line? How high is the center bulleye from the floor?
The oche which is what you stand behind is 2.37 metres from the board and the bullseye is 1.73 metres from the floor which is eye level for a six foot man. This is the reason why pro players are often quite tall. Hope this helps.

What is the offical distance from the dart board and how do u measure it? From the bull or along the floor.
The Official throwing distance for the Inner City Dart League, as it is for most countries, is 2.37 meters, as measured along the floor, from the plane of the face of the dartboard. In feet, this is 7 feet, 9-1/4 inches. The height of the board, from the floor to the center of the bull, is 173 centimeters, or 5 feet, 8 inches.The mesurement from the center of the bull to the toeline is 2.934 meters or 9 feet, 7-1/2 inches. League quality boards should be mounted in a well lit area, as far away from bar "traffic" and distractions as is possable, and in an area that allows ample room behind the throw line for players. The board should be firmly mounted to prevent undue wobble and placed with the "20" bed at the top.
