Official Dart Board
whatis the official distance to place a dart board heighth and length to shoot from?
The board needs to be hung exactly 5 foot 8 inches from the floor to the CENTER OF THE BULLSEYE. Good quality boards are hung from the center, making this measurement easy. If you have a board that hangs from the top, you will have to measure the distance from the center of the bullseye to the hanger and add that to the height. If a back board is used to protect the wall around the board, this will also have to be centered around the board.

What is the correct height and distance for a dart board?
I'm setting up a dart board to practice and I want it to be the same measurements you would normally find in an official event. Any help is appreciated.
The Official throwing distance for darts, in most countries, is 2.37 meters, as measured along the floor, from the plane of the face of the dartboard. In feet, that is 7 feet, 9-1/4 inches.
The height of the board, to the center of the bull, is 173 centimeters, or 5 feet, 8 inches.
To easily check your throw line measurement, the diagonal distance from the Bull, down and out to the Throw Line, should be 9 feet, 7-3/8 inches.
