Describe what it looks like in your yard/outside your home. Please name state, country, whatever.?

Yeah, I've got a lot better things to be doing. I'm just not motivated.
I'm in coastal South Carolina. I have to acres, all fenced in with chain link (we've got dogs). I have a mobile home on top of a small hill. I'm saving to finally build my dream home.
The drive way curves up to the triple bay carport and the vegetable garden is beside the carport. In part of the yard I've allowed pine trees to grow but, not near the house. I've planted sycamores, different types of oaks, cedar trees, American Red Bud and many dogwoods. Azaleas coupled with the dogwoods make for a beautiful show place in early spring. There are other plants but I won't list them all.

I live in Southern LA.

We have 17 acres, the first acre is nothing but pine trees and Azaleas. The next 7 acres are cleared, with sparse oak trees everywhere. The last 9 acres are all woods. Dead center of those woods is a Magnolia tree forest.

I have a long drive way that goes about 3 acres back, and there are gardens of veggies (tomatoes, bell peppers, egg plants, jalapeños and more) There are 2 houses on my property (my brother's and mine), and a garage. Currently it is very rainy.

Who would like to know more?

For the average person a trip to the SD Oglala Sioux is not in your future but about 20 years ago I worked on 3 reservations because they bought GE medical equipment and I worked for GE. With all these folks in Hollywood doing the VOGUE thing, visiting other countries, adopting children from other countries etc. I think it would be nice if they visited the reservations in South Dakota (The fly over state) to see the conditions. Its been 20 for me so I hope it has improved. Pine Ridge was bad, Eagle Butte next and Rosebud got some attention. I would like to see them (hollywood) do the next vogue thing and donate to the Sioux out there. Do your homework and find out for yourselves what America did in the early years and recently and how proud these people are. THEY DO NOT WHINE THAT THE BAR WAS ALWAYS MOVED HIGHER BECAUSE OF THEIR RACE. They are the true Americans and we took everything!

cheers

Thanks for that. Very informative.

But WTF has it got to do with LGBT?

What particular qualities did evangelical religion give to the early American culture?

Why did so many of its energies move toward the reform of society? Were there elements of American religion that resisted the reform impulse?

Evangelism is the practice of attempting to convert people to a religion. The term is used most often in reference to Christianity and Islam, since those two religions mandate that their followers make efforts to recruit as many people as possible into their faith. However, the term may be used for the practice of attempting to convert people to any religion, even if that religion does not specifically require that its followers engage in evangelism. For this reason, there are "evangelists" in Judaism, Buddhism, Hinduism, and other religions, even though those religions are not "evangelical" by nature. The term is sometimes used as a metaphor in a non-religious context as well.

The intention of most Christian evangelism is to convert those who do not follow the Christian God to Christianity for the purpose of effecting eternal salvation. Evangelism is done in obedience to the Great Commission, a command from Jesus to his disciples to proselytise, according to accounts in the New Testament. Christians who specialise in evangelism are known as evangelists, whether they are in their home communities or acting as missionaries in the field. Some Christian traditions consider evangelists to be in a leadership position, and they may be found preaching to large meetings, and in governance roles. Christian groups who actively encourage evangelism are sometimes known as evangelistic or evangelist.

The communication of Christian faith to new geographical areas and cultures is often referred to as evangelization, or specifically, world evangelization.

Western Wear – a Uniquely American Joy

Western wear is derived from the unique style of the western clothes worn in the early American West.  Western clothing is closely styled after the singing cowboys such as Gene Autry and Roy Rogers.  The extravagant western wear costuming consists - most of the time - of rhinestones and detailed embroidery.

When you watch Hollywood’s red carpet events and candid pictures of actors and actresses, you will see some of this western style in their wardrobes.  Western wear is a part of modern apparel and has a big influence in today’s fashion world.  Just look at the cuts of shirts for the women and the way many shirts fit a man’s physique.

In addition to the western clothing appeal, people are demanding longer lasting, more durable fabrics for their clothes.  They are also finding ways to incorporate the ornate detailing of the embroidery and classy rhinestone decorations into their modern wardrobe.

Many people agree that getting back to their roots and buying authentic western clothing is the best way to grab hold of the classic western wear style, durability and comfort of the true western apparel.  Designers will manipulate a piece of artistic western wear until a lot of times it won’t even resemble the original piece.  What is the point of buying western wear when it doesn’t have a trace of its roots and doesn’t come near the comfort level our western wear will give you?

Even though many of these celebrities and fashionistas are only buying them for looks, it shows good common sense when it comes to shopping because they know good quality clothing when they see it.

In homes where money isn’t coming from every which way, western clothing still makes even greater sense.  With reasonable prices and the long lasting durability of western wear, you will be able to save a lot of money.  Expensive department store clothing may look good for a time, but when it comes to holding up for every occasion and being affordable for people in all walks of life, it just doesn’t make sense to spend that much money on something that won’t last long and won’t always fit into any dress style for almost all occasions.

Western wear is unique in and of itself.  The durability of the clothes is nearly unmatched.  The stylish trends and confidence you have when you wear the western clothing is amazing.  Finding out that you can buy them without taking out a second mortgage on your house is also great, but you will be the most proud of the way you feel in them.  The comfort of western wear is desired by everyone, and unlike a lot of other clothes, everyone can afford them.
