I tried to remove some old paint off of our vintage dart board with goof off. It removed the paint great but when it dried there is a white film ALL over where I used the goof off. I've tried a bleach cleaner and nail polish remover to remove the haze and it wont go away! Please help me before my husband realizes what I did and kills me!

Removing white film left by goof off. Please help!?

Its actually not on wood. Its on a really hard plastic. Thats why I thought I would be fine. So far I've tried mineral spirits and Goo gone and nothing is working! I'm in so much trouble. The whole thing is white. It goes away when it is wet and I think I'm in the clear and then when it dries it pops right back up again.
try fine grit sand paper, remove haze, u may need to re-stain the wood gradually and then use wood conditioner over the problem area, then go over entire surface with murphy's oil (polish).... And never again use nail polish remover on anything other then glass.
