Applying Lipstick
Does anyone have any GREAT tricks on how to apply lipstick to increase its staying power?
do you add a lip pencil before applying lipstick, or blot, or use a lipbrush ??? any other suggestions...
First use Vaseline at night so that your lips will be moist and soft in the morning. Put on a little bit of foundation on your lips as a base. Use a long lasting lip liner and then put on two coats of lipstick. Put on lip liner again and top it off with a coat of clear lipgloss. My favorite lip gloss is Lancome. Good luck!

Need help applying red lipstick?
I really like how red lipstick can look on women but everytime I try to put it on I seem to mess it up, whether it's smeared on corners of my mouth and off my lip line. I also applied pink lip gloss over it to give it some shine and tone it down a bit, but how can I apply it where it doesn't smear and also I'm 19 but I look like I'm 12, so how can I do it where I don't just look like some preteen trying to look like an adult?
make sure u get the colour to suit your colouring, like if your blond get a more pink tone and if your a brunette get a deep red!
make sure you line the lip with a lip liner that matches the lipstick exactly first, then use a lip brush to apply the lipstick.
stick your index finger in your mouth and pull it out, this will get rid off it from the inside of your mouth. maybelline do one with a balm thats meant to keep the lipstick on all day. i think it makes ur lips hard but it does do the job.

Okay here it is.
Mona was very nice about applying the lipstick; did not seem put out in any way. Complimented her lips and made a comment about it's easy to see, with those lips, how you hold on to a man like Don.
When Betty says that her mother died, Mona held her gaze with a compassionate look, (sort of a sympathetic smirk) but with no words or intention of saying any. There was not a ton of time, but she was not speaking. But neither was she cold.
